Board Game Invention!

Have you ever wanted to prove you, too, can make a game? In honor of national Board Game Day, we present a challenge to show off your game design skills! Four contestants will be given a box with a random assortment of items, then they will have one hour to use everything in the box to design a functional game. Each contestant will then get half an hour to demo their game for the other contestants and any audience members who wish to come by. After each demo, everyone will submit a vote on whether they would buy the game. At the end of the night, the game with the most buy votes wins!

Designers will begin at 6 pm, and demonstration will start at 7 pm. If you want to just come, hang out, and judge, simply show up at 7 ready to playtest some games. There is a…
